Taco Bell debuts quesadilla-wrapped burrito

Taco Bell, home of the beloved Doritos Locos Taco, has just released the Quesarito.

The burrito-wrapped quesadilla  was long-rumored to be available as a secret menu item at Chipotle. But now it will join the competition's permanent menu. The official Quesarito is stuffed with the customer's choice of ground beef, steak or shredded chicken, rice, chipotle sauce, and sour cream.

Lucky Taco Bell fans in Oklahoma City were introduced to the new burrito four months prior to the national rollout Monday.

Chris Brandt, Taco Bell’s chief marketing officer, told the L.A. Times that the new product was the bestselling product in a test market since the Doritos Locos Tacos.
