Remember when Coca-Cola launched the design-your-own flavor soda dispensers-- known as the Coca-Cola freestyle-- eight years ago?
With over 100 Coca-Cola beverages to choose from in the machine including Coke Classic, Sprite, Fanta, Minute Maid Lemonade and more, the options for mixing and matching seemed endless.
It turns out, Coca-Cola has been collecting user data from the big red machines and now the people have spoken-- and the company says a lot soda lovers want cherry-flavored Sprite.
On Monday, the soda giant launched two new cherry-flavored drinks-- Sprite Cherry and Sprite Cherry Zero. The fan favorites are both clear, caffeine-free and made with a fruit additive that the company says is 100 percent.

“The launch of Sprite Cherry and Sprite Cherry Zero is a great way to show our fans that we’re continuing to innovate and offering them more of the great Sprite taste they love with a twist of something new," Bobby Oliver, director Sprite & Citrus Brands, Coca-Cola North America said in a statement.
Sprite Cherry Zero is the latest sugar-free product added to a growing list of nearly 250 other zero-sugar beverages currently available in the U.S.
The company says it's the first time that data collected from the Coca-Cola Freestyle has been used as inspiration for a new beverage. Unlike previous new Sprite flavors-- including Cranberry, Tropical Mix and LeBron’s Mix (which were each only available for a limited time)-- the new cherry flavors are a permanent addition to the Coca-Cola family.
Fans of cherry soda can find both Sprite Cherry and the zero-calorie option at stores nationwide this week.
People are already taking to Twitter to express their excitement for the new beverage.
