Rye Whiskey Makes A Comeback

Ingredients 1 ½ oz. Rittenhouse Rye ¾ oz. Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth ½ oz. Grand Marnier ¼ oz. Benedictine Liqueur 2 dashes Angostura Bitters 1 long wide orange peel Preparation Stir all ingredients with ice until chilled. Strain the stirring glass contents into a rocks glass over ice. Ingredients 1.5 oz. WhistlePig ‘100/100’ Straight Rye 1 oz. apple cider .5 oz. Averna Amaro Liqueur .5 oz. lemon juice .25 oz. Vermont maple syrup honey crisp apple slices Preparation Shake ingredients with ice and strain using a mesh strainer into a cocktail glass or coupe. Garnish with honey crisp apple slices. Ingredients 1 oz. Campari 1 oz. Wild Turkey 81 Rye Whiskey ¾ oz. Ruby Port 5 drops of orange blossom water 2 dashes of orange bitters 1 orange half wheel ground cinnamon Preparation Stir all ingredients, except orange blossom water, in a mixing glass briefly. Add 5 drops of orange blossom water over ice in rocks glass. Strain liquid in mixing glass into rocks glass. Garnish with ground cinnamon and an orange half wheel.
