Do you love sloppy sauces but hate getting your fingers dirty while using fries to sop up the extra flavor?

Worry no more, misophobes, McDonald’s has invented a silly-looking utensil that will keep your paws sauce-free and your mouth of delicious, golden fries.

Behold the “frork” (yes, it’s mouthful just to say)—a utensil that looks like fork but replaces the usual prongs with french fries.

The chain unleashed the device Monday via an infomercial parody hosted by pitchman Anthony Sullivan.

The frork was released as part of the rollout of McDonald’s new Signature Crafted Recipe Sandwiches, which include new sauces like Pico Guacamole, Sweet BBQ Bacon, and Maple Bacon Dijon.

“Will the Frork change your life? Probably not,” says an enthusiastic Sullivan. "Will the Frork improve your Signature Crafted Recipes eating experience? I mean, sure...maybe."

Fry-loving fans are already lighting up on Twitter.

“When savoring these recipes, there’s a hitch you just can’t ditch: The topping dropping,” Sullivan says in the infomercial. “This is a real problem. Wait, sorry is this a real problem? Probably not, but good news we solved it anyway.”

The “supremely superfluous” frork will be available while supplies last at participating restaurants on Friday, May 5. All you have to do is purchase a new Signature Crafted Recipe sandwich and let the sauce flow.

However, in true infomercial form, the chain also included a toll-free number in its web video and offered a free frork to the first 100 callers. The first 5,000 callers will receive a coupon for a Signature Crafted sandwich.
