This summer is all about enjoying s’mores without the smoke.
To celebrate National S’mores Day today, Aug. 10, the Girl Scouts announced the debut of two new s’mores inspired treats that will be added to their 2017 lineup.
The organization is calling the treats "Girl Scout S'mores" and according to their official website the first will be a “a crispy graham cookie double dipped in a crème icing and enrobed in a chocolatey coating” and the second cookie is a “a crunchy graham sandwich cookie with a chocolate and marshmallowy filling.”

The Girl Scout S’mores cookies will be the first additions to the organization’s lineup since 2015, which saw the release of Rah-Rah Raisins, Toffee-tastic and Trios.
The chocolate-coated s’mores cookie is vegan and is free of artificial colors, preservatives and partially hydrogenated oils, while the sandwich cookie has no artificial flavors, artificial colors, high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils and partially hydrogenated oils.
All of the revenue earned from cookie sales (everything after paying the baker) goes back to the seller's local Girl Scout council, providing funding for programming locally for nearly 2 million active Girl Scouts.
