Juicing can be a delish way to sip your daily fruits and veggies, but thanks to added sugars, it can also pack on the pounds.
What to do? When life gives you lemons…make lemonade.
Kelly Pfeiffer of nosh and nourish has found a way to whip up a tasty seasonal lemonade made with fresh fruit juices and some sneaky, good-for-you ingredients.
“Some strawberry lemonade calls for three cups or more of white sugar,” says the blogger and recipe developer. “Mine has zero. And yet, it is perfectly (and delightfully) sweet.”
“There’s veggies hidden inside–like parsnips and cucumber, but no one will ever know,” she adds. “They will just wonder how you made such a delicious drink and want the recipe for their next summer barbeque.”
Not only is it ridiculously simple to make, but you won’t feel guilty sipping away because there’s not even a pinch of the processed white stuff thrown in the mix. All you get is juicy goodness.
