Correale understands your woe all too well. She recommends washing these donuts down with a thick, creamy vanilla milkshake loaded with ice cream and fresh vanilla extract. Best of all? Both are easy to whip up for any occasion (ahem, today) and they only require simple ingredients you can find in any market. Looks like your weekend just started…now. - Ingredients 1 cup all-purpose flour 6 Tbsps. sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 4 Tbsps. Chobani 0% Vanilla Greek Yogurt 2 Tbsp. milk 1 egg 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted Preparation Pre-heat the oven to 325 degrees. Spray donut pan with non-stick spray. Set aside. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, and baking powder. Set aside. In a small bowl, whisk together the yogurt, milk, egg, vanilla, and melted butter. Slowly mix wet ingredients into dry- just until fully combined. Fill the donut cavities about 2/3 full. Bake 8 to 11 minutes until donuts are set and golden brown. - Ingredients 1 bag (20 oz.) frozen strawberries ½ cup sugar 1 ½ cup confectioners' sugar 2 Tbsps. unsalted butter, softened 1/4 tsp. pure vanilla extract Preparation Place strawberries and 2 tablespoons water in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat until thick, about 30 minutes. Run the contents through a food mill and strain into a small saucepan. Add 1/2 cup sugar and cook until sugar dissolves and mixture thickens to make a syrup consistency, about 15 minutes.
