Baseball team's cotton candy 'Tumbleweed Burger' gets cold reception on Twitter: 'Looks like diabetes'

You can now add cotton candy hamburgers to your peanuts and Cracker Jacks thanks to minor league baseball team, the Albuquerque Isotopes’ newest creation: the Tumbleweed Burger.
According to the MLB, the Isotopes’ home stadium, Isotope Park, has rolled out the sweet-and-savory (and spicy) concoction that includes a green chili bun, grilled Angus burger, ghost pepper cheese and a large puff of red chili cotton candy.

The candy-topped meat dish was debuted Tuesday on the Isotopes’ official Twitter page – but hasn’t exactly been well-received by baseball fans.
One person even pointed out the date – wondering if the team meant it as an April Fool’s Day joke.

However, not everyone was a nay-sayer. There were a few who were interested in trying the unique dish.

With the season opening this week, Albuquerque fans will soon have a chance to decide whether the strange combo is a home run – or strikes out.
