7-Eleven Day (aka free Slurpee day, July 11) is upon us. This year’s celebration is extra special since the world-famous Slurpee celebrates its 50th year in existence.
Like Starbucks, 7-Eleven rings in its birthday with a birthday-themed rendition of one of its iconic offerings — in the convenience store's case, it's the famous Slurpee. The limited-edition Birthday Cake Slurpee is available at participating stores now until supplies last. The chain describes it as “the perfect combination of traditional birthday cake and vanilla ice cream flavor — a delicious frozen celebration for your taste buds."
On Monday, convenience store customers can enjoy a free small Slurpee drink of any flavor at participating stores from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
