Zoe Saldaña is a busy woman. She is currently an ambassador for the L’Oreal brand, has several movies coming out this year and is preparing for the upcoming sequels of “Avatar.”
But that is not stopping her from doing even more. The 35-year-old actress, who is already producing films with the production company she founded with her sisters, recently revealed that she would love to jump into the director’s chair.
“I’m a fan of Tony Scott, so it would be awesome if there was a female director who would do ‘Man of Fire’-kind of movies,” Saldaña told The Hollywood Reporter when asked what kinds of films she would like to direct.

The actress is currently at the Cannes Film Festival with L’Oreal, which she said has been a beautiful experience.
“To be here and to share the stage with these amazing ambassadors, women that I’ve grown up admiring… the 13-year-old in me has not grown up and it’s just this awe that I feel,” she told THR.
Saldaña will next be seen in Marvel and Disney’s superhero film “Guardians of the Galaxy,” playing the green superhero Gamora.

When asked if she had ever contemplated being a superhero, she said, “Just for like a second when you’re in the show going, ‘Wouldn’t it be nice to fly and have a cape?’ And then you forget it,” she said. “And then all of a sudden they call you and say, ‘Wouldn’t it be nice to be green and in the Galaxy?’ And you go, ‘Ok, I’ll do it.”
