Zendaya Coleman hopes 'Fashion Police' will be more 'positive'

Zendaya Coleman is hopeful that “Fashion Police” will change after Giuliana Rancic’s comments about the singer’s dreadlocks caused a huge scandal, reports Us Weekly.
“I just hope they learn and grow from it and are able to make a positive change with their show,” the 18-year-old told Us when asked about the return of the controversial show, which launched a media firestorm. “Hopefully [they’re] able to take a more positive spin and we’re all able to learn from it at the same time.”
Rancic came under intense criticism for saying during the show’s post-Oscar special that Zendaya “probably smelled” like patchouli oil and weed because of her dreadlocks.
Coleman addressed the comments via social media and Rancic apologized profusely. In the aftermath of the drama two of the show’s co-hosts – Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin – exited abruptly.

“I want everyone, even the people at home, to feel like they are part of the production,” Coleman explained. “I want them to feel like they are on the stage, they are in there with us and really just be sucked up in the world and have a lot of fun. That’s all it’s about really.”
