WWE suspends Paige, boyfriend Alberto Del Rio for wellness violation
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}WWE have suspended British star Paige and her real-life boyfriend Alberto Del Rio for 30 days in violation of the company’s wellness policy.
The news of the wrestling couple’s ban was cruelly confirmed on Paige’s 24th birthday.
The statements from the WWE read: “WWE has suspended Saraya-Jade Bevis (Paige) for 30 days effective tomorrow, Thursday, Aug. 18, for her first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.

The 30-day suspension is standard for a first violation. WWE has not further commented publicly on either former world champion Del Rio or Paige’s suspensions, and it isn’t known what caused either violation.
Paige’s mother, professional wrestler Saraya Knight, confirmed earlier this month that her daughter was undergoing therapy to heal neck and back injuries.
