Brazilian journalist Julia Guimaraes is speaking out against a World Cup fan’s “shameful” behavior, after he attempted to kiss her while filming a live report Sunday from Yekaterinburg, Russia.
As Senegal and Japan competed in a 2-2 draw, the SportTV reporter was approached by a bespectacled on-looker trying to peck her on the cheek, but she was able to quickly avoid his advances.
“It’s difficult to find words…Luckily, I never saw this happen in Brazil! Here, it’s happened twice already. Sad! Shameful!” Guimaraes tweeted in Portuguese in response to the now viral video.

Guimaraes isn’t the only female journalist who has experienced a controversial kiss at this year’s World Cup. A Russia soccer fan has since apologized for kissing and groping Colombian journalist Julieth Gonzalez on-air. She reportedly accepted his apology.
