    What Happened To ... The Cast Of 'La Bamba'?

    In 1987, Hollywood released a biographical film on the life of rock 'n' roll legend Ritchie Valens, a Mexican-American from East Los Angeles. Valens died at the age of 17 in a 1959 plane crash that also took the lives of Buddy Holly and the Big Bopper. The film featured many notable Latino actors and a Filipino one, Lou Diamond Phillips, who would become forever connected to Latino culture.
