TV moms we'd love to have

Carol Brady Florence Henderson portrayed the iconic mom from "The Brady Bunch." She was mom to three girls and step-mom to three boys and still managed to keep it all together! Check out which other fictional moms deserve some kudos on mother's day. (CBS)

Gloria Pritchett Somehow Ed O'Neill lucked out twice by having two amazing TV wives. First, Peg Bundy (Katey Sagal) and now Gloria on "Modern Family." Gloria, played by Sofia Vergara, is strong, caring and sexy. The Colombian accent doesn't hurt either. (ABC)

Clair Huxtable The super-smart and savvy lawyer, played by Phylicia Rashad, somehow managed to keep quirky Dr. Huxtable (Bill Cosby) in check. Any kid would have killed to spend a day under their roof. (NBC)

Dallas Royce Dallas, played by Cheryl Hines, is materialistic and superficial, but its clear she would do anything for her daughter Dalia (Carly Chaikin) on "Suburgatory." (ABC)

Angela Bower The "Who's the Boss?" matriarch, played by Judith Light, hired a man (Tony Danza) to be her housekeeper and took in his young daughter as well. What's not to love? (Sony Pictures Television)

June Cleaver The iconic matriarch on "Leave it to Beaver" was played by Barbara Billingsley for the shows' six season run in the late '50s and early '60s. She was a typical '50s mom extremely dedicated to her family. While she wasn't being a super mom, she enjoyed things like needlepoint, cake decorating, and arranging tea roses. (MCA Television)

Peg Bundy Katey Sagal played care-free stay at home mom Peg Bundy on "Married... with Children." Of course these days she plays a very different mother on "Sons of Anarchy" on FX. But whether she's red-headed Peg or hard-talking Gemma, she's a great mom! (Fox)

Caroline Quiner Ingalls Karen Grassle starred as the mom on "Little House on the Prairie" in the late '70s and early '80s who had to take care of seven kids. Anyone who can do that and still act proper is a star in our book. (NBC)

Rayna James Having a famous mom has gotta be everyone's dream. On "Nashville" Rayna (played by Connie Britton) is a huge singer and has two young daughters at home. (ABC)

Aunt Becky Okay, so Lori Loughlin started out on "Full House" as an aunt when she married Uncle Jesse (John Stamos), but before long she too became a mom to twins. And haaaaave mercy, was she a good mom! (ABC)

Marion Cunningham Even the coolest guy on TV, the Fonze, wanted Mrs. C (played by Marion Ross) to be his mom. She was the only person who could call Fonzie by his real (dorky) name, Arthur. (CBS)

Laura Petrie Mary Tyler Moore beat out tons of other actresses to play Laura Petrie on "The Dick Van Dyke Show" in the '60s. She later said that she almost skipped out on the audition! (CBS)

Elyse Keaton Meredith Baxter starred on "Family Ties" throughout the '80s as the Keaton matriarch. Her fictional kids were just as great as she was. Who could forget Alex P. Keaton (played by Michael J. Fox)? (CBS)

Morticia Addams Many women have tried to remake Morticia over the years, but none compare to Carolyn Jones from the '60s. Being the matriarch of such an enigmatic family is no easy task, yet Morticia was always the calm one when things would get out of hand. Oh yea, and she could start flames with her fingertips. (ABC)

Debra Barone Debra, played by Patricia Heaton, on "Everybody Loves Raymond" would keep her cool every time her annoying in-laws would pop by unexpectedly. We love Heaton's Franckie Heck on "The Middle" too. (CBS)
