TLC's Joseph and Kendra Duggar expecting first child

There’s going to be a new addition to the Duggar family.

Joseph and Kendra Duggar announced on Monday they are expecting their first child together in a video message posted on the family’s website.

“We have some exciting news,” Kendra Duggar, 19, said.

“We’re expecting,” Joseph Duggar, 22, added. “I’ve always dreamed of having my own family and it’s really just kind of surreal that it’s actually here.”

Kendra Duggar said the newborn “could be a girl,” before adding, “You never know!”

The couple, who star in TLC’s “Counting On,” began their courtship ealier this year in March after they met in church, People reported. He proposed at his sister Joy-Anna’s wedding. They got married in September.

Joseph Duggar 's parents are Jim and Michelle Duggar, who have 18 other children. The family gained fame on the TLC reality series “19 Kids and Counting.”
