- Tim Daly Now Since the show, Daly has continuously gotten TV roles, including "Monk," and the HBO mini-series "From the Earth to the Moon." He was nominated for an Emmy for his recurring guest role on "The Sopranos." He starred on the medical drama "Private Practice" until his character, Dr. Pete Wilder, was written out in 2012. Weber began a Broadway career in 2001, appearing in Tom Stoppard’s "The Real Thing." In 2006 he had a guest role on former "Wings" co-star Tony Shalhoub’s series, "Monk" and appeared in the series "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip."
