- 'Mork & Mindy' Robin Williams’ 1978 sitcom was out of this world! In the "Happy Days" spin-off, wacky alien Mork (Robin Williams) lands on Earth in an egg-shaped spaceship to study humans. Luckily, he meets helpful earthling Mindy McConnell (Pam Dawber). Mork moves into Mindy's attic, much to the chagrin of her father (Conrad Janis). - Robin Williams: Now "Mork & Mindy" launched Williams to superstar status. Since the show, he’s had a successful film career, appearing in everything from "Mrs. Doubtfire" and "Hook" to "One Hour Photo" and "Jakob the Liar." Williams won an Oscar for his work in 1997's "Good Will Hunting." In 2009 he starred in "Old Dogs" with John Travolta and he is in "The Butler" (2013). (AP)read more
