Then/Now: The Cast of 'Full House'

The most wholesome of wholesome family sitcoms, "Full House" aired on ABC from 1987 to 1995. It featured widower Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) raising his three young daughters with his two best friends, Jesse Katsopolis (John Stamos) and Joey Gladstone (Dave Coulier).

Despite the three dads thing, "Full House" was cut from traditional American sitcom cloth, with important life lessons learned in every episode - to a laugh track. (ABC)

Though dad maintained strict discipline, those little minxes D.J. (Candace Cameron), Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), and Michelle (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen) always knew how to get into trouble!

A few years in the kids were already looking more like little adults. Let's see how they turned out, shall we?

Usually paired with best friend Kimmy or boyfriend Steve, D.J. Tanner (played by Candace Cameron, 11) was the eldest Tanner, and Danny sure had a lot to handle as "Daddy's Little Girl" entered high school. As a girl in love with the latest fashion, make-up, and music, she frequently butted heads with her father and his Mr. Strict rules. (ABC)

Who knew Joey Gladstone could be such a good matchmaker? Now proudly Candace Cameron Bur, the actress, 33, married hockey player Valeri Bure in 1996, after co-star Dave Coulier introduced the two. She took a hiatus from acting to raise her three children, but has returned to TV this year in ABC family's gymnastics drama, "Make It or Break It." No longer the teenage daughter, Candace plays a mom on the show.

With her trademark line, "How rude," middle child Stephanie (played by Jodie Sweetin, 5 in this photo) was an adorable curly-haired girl, known for her mischief and dancing talent. (ABC)

Cute little Stephanie is all grown up now, and has gotten into a little more than girly mischief. In 2002, actress Jodie Sweetin started taking crystal meth, even keeping the secret from her first husband, an L.A. police officer. She was hospitalized for the addiction in 2005 and soon entered rehab. She's clean now at age 27, and plans to write a memoir about her addiction. She also recently separated from her second husband, with whom she had her first child. (AP)

"You got it, dude!" Here's Michelle Tanner, youngest daughter and all-around cutie from "Full House." This "munchkin," as Uncle Jesse called her, was played by twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen from the time they were 9 months old!.They were show-biz pros by the time the series ended in 1995. (AP)

Following "Full House," the twins became huge pre-teen stars, marketing the "Mary-Kate and Ashley" brand around the world through their own company, Dualstar Productions. They've starred in their own video series ("The Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen"), ABC sitcoms ("Two of a Kind" and "So Little Time") as well as several popular direct-to-video movies featuring the twins traveling the world ("Our Lips are Sealed" and "Winning London"). They've created a Wal-Mart clothing line for young girls, released records, and became multi-millionaires - all before 18. (AP)

She's known as "The Queen of Boho-Chic." Sporting those oversized sweaters and sunglasses, Mary-Kate Olsen, 23, has hit the Manhattan and L.A party scenes hard. Wanting to be viewed separately from Ashley, she's also taken small roles in the movie "The Factory Girl" and TV show, "Weeds." However, she still works with big sis Ashley (older by two minutes) on their two clothing lines, The Row and Elizabeth and James. Like many young actresses, she's also faced weight and substance abuse issues, and in 2004, she was admitted into rehab for anorexia. (AP)

Often pinned as the level-headed twin, Ashley, 23, has mostly left acting for a budding career as fashion designer, interning with Zac Posen and working on the labels, The Row and Elizabeth and James. She's been seen dating older men, like cyclist Lance Armstrong. Ashley isn't without her enemies though. PETA frequently targets the teeny star for wearing fur. (AP)

Next door neighbor Kimmy Gibbler (played by Andrea Barber, 11) might be D.J.'s best friend but the rest of the family finds her pretty annoying. Known for her strange clothing and smelly feet, Kimmy may be odd, but is still the most loyal friend to D.J. through the years. (ABC)

No longer playing eccentric Kimmy Gibbler, Andrea, 33, has left the crazy-colored clothes and acting for married life as a mother of two children. She's also on Facebook and Twitter for nostalgic "Full House" fans to follow.

Lovable Steve Hale (played by Scott Weinger, 17) played D.J.'s on-again, off-again boyfriend and all-around goofball. Star of the high school wrestling team, he was always grabbing a bite at the Tanner home. Though D.J. and Steve broke up in season 7, he returned in season 8 to take her to prom. What a guy! (ABC)

Though still nice looking, Scott, 33, might actually be more well-known for his voice than anything else. He's provided the voice of "Aladdin" in the movie and its subsequent sequels and TV shows. Graduating magna cum laude from Harvard in 1998, Scott is also a television writer, for shows such as Amanda Bynes' "What I Like About You." (AP)

The Tanner family has left their famed San Francisco house, but co-star John Stamos reportedly wants a reunion, so maybe one day we'll see a full house again, enjoying the impossibly cheesy lives of the Tanners. (ABC)
