Then/Now: Our favorite 'Baywatch' stars

'Baywatch' Tanned, toned lifeguards bouncing across the screen transfixed America from 1989 to 1999, garnering over 1.1 billion viewers each week. But where are those red-swimsuit wearing stunners now? Click through to find out. (AP)

David Hasselhoff Then Known for his leading role in "Knight Rider," Hasselhoff was at the show’s center, portraying head lifeguard Mitch Buchannon from 1989 to 1999. He was also the show’s executive producer. Multi-tasking Mitch acted as beach police, chief hostage negotiator and combat expert. What a man. (AP)

David Hasselhoff Now The Hoff has been a musical hit in Germany, battled with booze, split from wife Pamela Bach, and formed a social network, Hoffspace. In 2006, "David Hasselhoff: The Musical" opened in Australia, capitalizing on the actor’s campy appeal, which was also utilized in musicals like "The Producers." The Hoff judged "America's Got Talent" from 2006 to 2009 and in 2011 he starred in a reality show for A&E with his two daughters called "The Hasselhoffs." He announced his own 10-week talk show in Sweden on February 24, 2014. (AP)

Pamela Anderson Then Work with Playboy and a role on "Home Improvement" won the buxom blonde her iconic red swimsuit. The most famous "Baywatch" actress of all time, Pam stole the show as CJ Parker, a role she played from 1992 to 1997. (AP)

Pamela Anderson Now Though she’s a Malibu soccer mom, Anderson still finds plenty of time to party in Vegas and walk the catwalk in fashion shows. Probably the biggest star to come out of "Baywatch," Pam, has had her own series ("V.I.P." and "Stacked") and is rarely out of the headlines. Whether she's marrying another rocker (Tommy Lee, Kid Rock) or showing off her body for PETA, Pammy's still enjoying the limelight. (AP) ( )

Alexandra Paul Then After starring in flicks like Stephen King’s "Christine," Alex played Lt. Stephanie Holden from 1992 until 1997. Though she couldn’t fill out her swimsuit quite as well as the other gals (Paul was one of only two cast members who didn’t have implants), her character was popular nonetheless. (AP)

Alexandra Paul Now In addition to being an actress, Alexandra is an Ironman competitor as well as a political and environmental activist. She has been arrested many times during peaceful protests, and is married to a triathlon coach. In 2008, she guest-starred in several episodes of "Mad Men." (REUTERS)

David Charvet Then One of the hunks of the show, French actor Charvet played Matt Brody between 1992 and 1995. Brody was the Bay's Don Juan, romancing multiple female lifeguards. (AP)

David Charvet Now Charvet appeared on "Melrose Place" and has competed on reality shows "Dancing with the Stars" and "The Superstars." He's now a singer, touring Europe with cheesy pop songs. Charvet is married to Brooke Burke and the couple have two children together. (AP)
