<a href="http://entertainment.blogs.foxnews.com/2009/09/30/report-oscar-nominated-actor-dennis-hopper-rushed-to-hospital/" target="_blank">Dennis Hopper was taken to the hospital</a> on September 30, 2009 with "flu-like symptoms," and is now reportedly doing okay.
When the news hit, people were shocked, because the one-time craziest guy in Hollywood still looked so fit and remarkably well put together, given his former drug and alcohol-abusing lifestyle.
Here's a look at Dennis now and back in the day, plus a look back at all of his 1960s leading men compatriots who are still with us today.

<b>Dennis Hopper in "Giant"</b> (1956). Dennis pre-dated all of his 1960s leading men, cutting his teeth in a handful of 1950s classics, including "Giant" and "Rebel Without a Cause," both starring the late James Dean.
After years of substance abuse, the now clean-and-sober Hopper looks better than ever at age 73.

Warren Beatty shows off his guns in "Bonnie and Clyde" (1967).
Beatty is 72 now, and received a lifetime achievement award at the Golden Globes two years ago.
Jack Nicholson in "Five Easy Pieces" (1970). Nicholson was already in his thirties when he got his big break in "Easy Rider" in 1969.

Dustin Hoffman in "The Graduate" (1966).
Now 72, Hoffman is still going strong - and he still has his hair!

A year away from 80 years old, Sean Connery looks just as good, or even better, than Harrison Ford, his "Indy" co-star almost two decades his junior. (AP)
Jon Voight in "Midnight Cowboy" (1970).
Now 70, Jon Voight is still in 3-4 movies a year, and has become known for his conservative political views. Oh yeah, and for being Angelina Jolie's dad. (AP)
