The Best and The Worst of The Golden Globes

The 70th annual Golden Globes aired last night, showering praise on some of the best and brightest in Hollywood. If you weren't among the millions of viewers watching along at home, you missed out on all the speeches, surprises and glamorous gowns — but we're not here to bore you with all of that. That was Hillary Clinton's husband," said host Amy Poehler.  Best Acceptance Speech: Adele, who took home the Golden Globe in the Original Song category for “Skyfall.” "Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God…We've literally come for a night out. I was not expecting this. Thank you so much for letting me part of your world for a night. It's amazing. We've been pissin' ourselves laughing."  Best Line From an Acceptance Speech: “I beat Meryl!” Jennifer Lawrence proclaimed as she accepted the Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy award for her role in “Silver Linings Playbook.”  The quip about Hollywood legend and fellow nominee Meryl Streep was taken from the movie “First Wives Club."  Most Apparently Unintentionally Awkward Speech:  Lena Dunham, who thanked her fellow nominees for  getting her "through middle school" and beyond as she accepted her award for Best Actress in a Musical or TV Comedy. She was nominated alongside Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Zooey Deschanel. "Congratulations Lena, I'm glad we got you through middle school," host Tina Fey (sort of) joked in response.  Most Buzzed About Speech: Jodie Foster hinted at being gay and possibly retiring from acting during a rambling speech as she accepted the Cecil B. DeMille award for lifetime achievement.  Best Dressed: Kate Hudson  Worst Dressed: Sienna Miller
