Taylor Swift admits: 'I don’t know how to make relationships last'

Taylor Swift may have dated some of young Hollywood’s hottest heartthrobs, but that doesn’t mean she knows how to hang on to them…and she’ll be the first to admit that.

“I don’t know how to make relationships last,” Swift told British Cosmopolitan.

Swift, whose full interview appears in the January issue of Cosmopolitan, on sale today, opened up about her love life and relationship troubles.

“I’ve never had a really long relationship, so I have no idea what that’s like,” she told the magazine. “Wish me luck for the future!”

Currently, the 22-year-old is rumored to be dating One Direction’s Harry Styles, 18. Before that, she was spending time with Connor Kennedy, also 18.

“I really don’t have any rules about dating when it comes to height, age, career choice, anything like that. It doesn’t matter. It’s really more about strength of character. When it comes to age I’ve been all over the map!”

Swift’s ex-boyfriends include stars like John Mayer, Taylor Lautner, Cory Monteith and Jake Gyllenhaal.

And she admitted some moments from her past relationships have found their way into her song lyrics, which her exes don’t always like.

“The thing is, they’re just guessing that the song is about them. I put details in my songs but never first and last names, and I definitely don’t include social-security numbers!”
