'Star Wars' actress Carrie Fisher reveals her trick for learning lines

Carrie Fisher, who was honored at Midnight Mission’s Golden Heart Awards Gala in Beverly Hills, revealed she’s having a wonderful time on the “Star Wars: Episode VII” set... except for the acting part.

“I’m bad at learning my lines – it’s humiliating,” she confessed to The Hollywood Reporter. “There’s no way unless you put cards and stuff or write the lines on my hand.”

The 57–year-old actress arrived with a tumbler of Coca-Cola and her French bulldog as her date.

“This award is about being of service,” she said, “and Gary is a service dog. I’m so eccentric, I hope that’s what people think, not that I’m some asinine person in search of a reality show.”
