Spanish teacher reportedly fired after Playboy past revealed
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Students and parents at a Dallas, Texas, school are up in arms after their Spanish teacher was reportedly abruptly fired because it came to light that she had posed for Playboy.
According to KDFW FOX4, Cristy Nicole Deweese posed for Playboy in 2011, while she was still in college. But when news of her racy past came to light, the magnet school reportedly dismissed her.
Deweese appeared in a seductive video and nude photos for Playboy, which are still available on the Playboy website.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Her students say they have had two different substitute teachers since Deweese left.
"We were playing hangman - I can say that." William Russell, a sophomore in Deweese's class, told the news station.
Parents and students are split on the issue, with some believing the model needs to keep away from the school and others charging that she is a good teacher and deserves to be reinstated.
