Solange Knowles will not be performing at Coachella this year due to “major production delays,” leaving a gap in the festival lineup just days before the start of the first weekend.

Festival organizers announced the cancellation Sunday night but did not say who will be filling the performance spot. The “Cranes in the Sky” singer was expected to perform on both Saturdays of Coachella as one of the main acts.

“Due to major production delays, Solange will unfortunately no longer be performing at this year's festival. She sends her sincerest apologies, and looks forward to performing at Coachella in the future,” the festival wrote on Twitter.

Solange made a guest appearance last year during her sister, Beyonce Knowles', set. The sudden cancellation upset some fans, who were looking forward to the singer performing songs from her new album, “When I Get Home,” released in March.

“This year’s Coachella is officially a flop. We rewatching last years performance,” one user wrote.

“Coachella is cancelled,” another person tweeted, while another fan said, “She dropped that album before Coachella szn for nothing smh.”

Other social media users suggested the now-vacant spot to be filled by artists including the Jonas Brothers, Lana Del Rey and Carly Rae Jepsen.
