Scott Baio claims Red Hot Chili Peppers' drummer's wife attacked him over Trump

Scott Baio claims the wife of the drummer from the Red Hot Chili Peppers physically attacked him over his support of President-elect Donald Trump. Police confirmed he filed a report about the incident on Monday.

"Scott Baio is listed as a victim on a misdemeanor battery report that we received Monday," the Venture County Police Department told FOX411. They added that the investigation is ongoing to "determine if a crime occurred" and that no charges have been filed.

According to TMZ, Baio was attending a function at his child's elementary school when he was confronted by Nancy Mack who is married to drummer Chad Smith. Mack reportedly began cursing at Baio, who has been an outspoken supporter of Trump.

The gossip site reports that Baio asked Mack repeatedly to calm down as children were present but she instead reportedly attacked him by grabbing him under the arms, shaking him and pushing him.

Mack sources told TMZ she was only trying to show Baio how Trump hugs women.

A rep for Red Hot Chili Peppers and Baio did not return FOX411's request for comment.
