Sandra Bullock Smiling Again

Sandra Bullock made the surprise announcement that she adopted a baby boy three months ago, before her husband's infidelity scandal broke out. While she started the adoption process with Jesse James, she tells <a href="http://www.people.com/people/package/article/0,,20364464_20364639,00.html" target="_blank">People magazine </a>she will now be adopting as a single parent.

Bullock tells <a href="http://www.people.com/people/package/article/0,,20364464_20364639,00.html" target="_blank">People magazine</a> she adopted Louis Bardo when he was 3 1/2 months old.  The bouncing baby boy was born in New Orleans, Louisiana.  

The news of Sandra's adoption came on the hells of a tumultuous time for the actress. Until troubling news about <a href="http://entertainment.blogs.foxnews.com/2010/03/17/tattoo-model-sandra-bullock-jesse-james-cheating-sex-scandal/?test=faces">her husband's possible infidelity</a>, Sandra Bullock was on top of the world.  The actress just won her first Oscar, and looked incredible on red carpet after red carpet.  (REUTERS)
