Ryan Gosling's Leading Ladies

2004's "The Notebook" paired Ryan Gosling with Rachel McAdams, both of whom would soon become household names due to the hugely popular (and wildly romantic) film. McAdams has also starred in such films as "Mean Girls," "Midnight in Paris" and the recent "Sherlock Holmes" adaptations. (Reuters)
Back in 2007, English actress Rosamund Pike played Gosling's love interest and future boss in "Fracture." Her other credits include "Die Another Day," "Pride and Prejudice" and "Jack Reacher." (Reuters)
Gosling's character in 2007's "Lars and the Real Girl" had a social disability which made it hard for him to connect with women, especially a co-worker played by Kelli Garner. He instead developed a romantic relationship with a life-size sex doll. Garner's other credits include "The Aviator," "Thumbsucker" and the ABC television series "Pan Am."
Williams co-starred with Gosling in 2010's tragic love story "Blue Valentine." In order to bring realism to their performances, the film's director insisted that the two leads move in together, along with their onscreen daughter, and live as a family between filming schedules. Emma Stone first starred with Gosling in 2011's "Crazy, Stupid, Love." Less than two years later, she would once again play the object of his affections in "Gangster Squad."
