Rosie Perez’s time at “The View” was not without controversy. She calls her time on the co-host table “crazy,” but says she would totally return.
Talking to People magazine at Monday night’s opening night of the 2015 US Open, Perez said the women on the morning talk show should keep her seat warm because she would love to come back for a visit.
“I think I will be back to visit the ladies,” she said. “I love them, and I love the show. It was just time.”

Perez, 50, left “The View” after just one season in August to focus on her acting career. She was the first – and only – Latina to co-host the long-running show.
She said leaving the ABC show was “bittersweet” and openly admitted it was “crazy.”
“It was fun, it was hard, it was everything,” she added. “It was like life.”
