Ricky Martin will be performing at the closing festivities of the Pan American games in Guadalajara, Mexico, on October 30.
Officials in charge of the competition confirmed the news to Terra on Tuesday, saying the singer will be part of the international group participating.
The Associated Press reported that other artists, including Peruvian singer Gian Marco and Mexican singer Alejandro Férnandez, are also part of the international ensemble.
The Pan American games will take place from the 14-16 of October.
