Richard Simmons says he’s working out his issues.

Following a report Thursday claiming he is suffering from a deep depression that has essentially made him a shut-in, the exercise guru took to Facebook to say he’s been having a “tough time” dealing with an injury but avoided all mention of the word depression.

“I am so touched by the outpouring of love and concern I have received today. I have had a tough time dealing with this injury, as it is keeping me from doing what I truly love to do and that is to teach classes around the world. Make sure you keep Sweatin’!” Simmons wrote on Facebook.

TMZ reported that Simmons barely talks to anyone in his life, even those extremely close to him. He has his housekeeper turn guests away at the door, various sources told the website.
