Benefit planned for family of slain Sgt. Joseph Lemm Video

Remembering a fallen hero. That’s what friends and family of NYPD Detective and Air National Guardsman Joseph Lemm later today at concert benefit honoring his valor and legacy.

Det. Lemm, or ‘superman’ as his friends would say, was killed on December 21st. The 15-year NYPD vet was serving his third tour of duty when a suicide bomber crashed into Lemm’s patrol in Afghanistan.

The public is welcome to attend the benefit. All proceeds from tonight’s concert will go to Det. Lemm’s family, including his wife and two children.  Those interested in attending or donating to the family can call (877) 987-6487 or visit www.nypdsuperman.com.

The concert will feature performances by the New York Tenors, Clyde McPhatter’s Drifters, Joe Piscopo & Jax, and Det. Lemms’ daughter. The show starts at 8p.m. at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY.
