{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Carmen Electra is opening up about her troubled relationship with former NBA player Dennis Rodman.
On “Oprah: Where Are They Now?,” Electra, 42, recalls meeting Rodman, 53, in 1998 shortly after the passing of her mother.
“People couldn’t understand why I loved him because he had a reputation for being a bad boy,” she said. “What I saw in the beginning was this gentle giant that was in a lot of pain — so in a way we understood each other.”

The “Baywatch” and “Scary Movie” actress called their one-year marriage passionate. “When it was good, it was amazing. And when it was bad, it was the worst,” she explained.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Shortly before divorcing, Electra and Rodman were both arrested in 1999 for allegedly assaulting each other, reports TMZ. All charges were dropped.
