Hailie Scott Mathers, daughter of Detroit trailer park rapper Marshall “Eminem” Mathers, is doing remarkably well considering nearly two decades ago her father rapped about murdering her mom, Kimberly Scott.
In spite of her father’s fame and the songs he wrote about her, Hailie, now 23, has long managed to avoid the spotlight, instead focusing on school and eventually graduating from Michigan State University, where she studied psychology.
But all of that is about to change.

Hailie has also garnered some 1.3 million followers on Instagram, where she posts about her travels, lifestyle and long-term boyfriend Evan McClintock. Her growing online profile has some wags hailing her as a new beauty, fitness and fashion influencer.
High school sweethearts Eminem, now 45, and Scott gave birth to Hailie in 1995, and married in 1999 — in spite of ongoing relationship issues made evident by Eminem’s music. He would eventually gain full custody of Hailie when he and Scott divorced two years later. After a brief reconciliation in 2006, Eminem would go on to adopt Whitney, his ex-wife’s daughter from a previous relationship, and later assume guardianship of her niece Alaina in 2016.
A year later, Eminem released the song “Castle” as an apology to his daughter and Scott for publicizing their private lives.

In an interview with DailyMail earlier this year, Hailie says she is “really close” with her father. Her Instagram often shows her enjoying music festivals where her pops is performing — and he infamously defended his baby girl’s honor when rapper Machine Gun Kelly dubbed her “hot as f---” earlier this year.
While she remains relatively private, her social media depicts a life filled with workouts, music, style and her dog, Lottie. Of her career, Hailie says, “It’s kind of up in the air.”
