Remember when Mila Kunis accepted an invitation to the Marine ball by Sgt. Scott Moore last year, courtesy of FOX411’s Pop Tarts column?
Now pro golfer Lexi Thompson, 17, has turned the tables. She posted a YouTube video this week asking for guys in the armed services to take her to her high school prom.
“For my date, I am looking for somebody special and that I respect, that’s why I am choosing a guy from the service,” Thompson says in a video post. “So if you are up for this challenge, here is what you need to do.”

The athletic blonde, who won the 2011 Navistar Classic, goes on to state she is specifically looking for a male between the ages of 18 and 20, and instructs potential takers to visit her Facebook Fan Page, upload a photo of themselves and explain why they should be the chosen one.
Thompson’s sponsors are paying for the winner to fly to Coral Springs, Fla. on May 18 for the date with the golfer.
“If you have any questions go to my Facebook fan page of tweet me @lexi with hashtag #lexi prom,” she added. “Hopefully I’ll see one of you there.”

The video posting also states that the gesture is Thompson’s way of saying “thank you” and to show support for the Armed Services, and not surprisingly, her offer already has dozens of young men pulling the moves.
“Now there is an incentive to come home in one piece,” one person commented on the fan page, while another urged her to “make sure it is a Marine.” another informed her that “air force guys are pretty sexy,” while another nudged her to take a wounded warrior.
“Great way to honor all our heroes and remind them that they are not forgotten and they matter to all of us,” added the fan.
