Where do two tired parents go when they need some alone time together? In the case of one royal couple, one of the most exclusive resorts in the world.
The Daily Mail is reporting that Prince William and wife Kate Middleton have jetted off on what’s being called their “second honeymoon,” sparking criticism for leaving behind their son, Prince George, with Middleton’s parents to babysit. Their romantic getaway is taking place right before their official tour of New Zealand and Australia which will include their son. And while the duo may want to simply spend some alone time away from the public and cameras, the Daily Mail points out that they are reportedly “accompanied by several taxpayer funded Scotland Yard detectives.”
But how exclusive is the lavish retreat? Made fit for royals, of course.

A source tells US Weekly that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are relaxing at the five-star Cheval Blanc Randheli Resort, which opened last November, on Noonu Atoll in Maldives on the Indian Ocean.
Here's a peek at what their enjoying:
Cheval Blanc Randheli is no ordinary resort for the rich and fabulous. It’s actually part of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy luxury conglomerate, boasting lagoon views, a private beach, a tropical garden, and a “customized seaplane” to make transportation super easy and private.

But every other vacation destination has plenty of beaches, right? There’s more.
Cheval Blanc Randheli is all about serving the finest accommodations for guests, according to its website. Aside from seemingly never-ending views of “turquoise waters,” the resort offers 15 water villas for “an unforgettable seaside living experience,” along with “an outdoor lounge as well as a refreshing rain shower and a 12.5-metre-long private infinity pool,” which, according to the resort’s site, is “an idyllic option for romantic getaways.”
“Will and Kate are kicking back in a large two-bedroom island villa, which includes a 41-foot infinity pool and sun deck,” reports US Weekly. “According to one insider a four-night stay at the Cheval Blanc costs $10,000, and a five-course dinner at the resort’s luxury Le 1947 restaurant costs about $500 per person–without drinks.”

If fine dining isn’t their thing beyond the palace, William and Kate do have other options to amp up their trip.
“A genuine marina hosts Cheval Blanc’s fleet of local dhoni boats and a yacht, ideal to explore the Maldivian sea,” states the resort’s brochure, also adding guests can get pampered at a hair spa or stretch out at a yoga pavilion. And of course, there’s the usual, like the “5-star PADI certified dive centre” where guests are escorted by “passionate divers” to undergo an underwater adventure. Let’s not also forget the two tennis courts where one can play by the ocean or the “state-of-the-art golf simulator” when you don’t feel like big game fishing or dolphin watching.
Expect the Duke and Duchess to look bright-eyed and tanned upon their return to Buckingham Palace.
