Bronx Dominicano and Latin music ambassador Prince Royce has many reasons to celebrate this fall, as he gears up to close a year of unprecedented success.
Topping this year’s Billboard Latin Music Awards with eight awards, it is clear that Prince Royce’s unique mix of bachata, pop, urban and even a hint of ranchera has captured the hearts of America and the world.
And there's more. His most recent album, Phase II, a triple-platinum in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, has also been nominated for the 2012 Latin Grammy Awards as Best Tropical Album.

But the artist’s success transcends from popularity and awards into musical excellence, discipline and a vision to continue to converge the best of both worlds.
“[I want to] try to continue innovating with music, continue doing new things and keep the fans guessing,” said Prince Royce in an exclusive interview for Fox News Latino. His album’s second single, 'Incondicional,' is an example of Royce’s ability to surprise the fans, by introducing a fusion of bachata and mariachi music composed by Royce in collaboration with Sergio George and Daniel Santacruz. .
Prince Royce, born Geoffrey Royce Rojas, landed on the music scene two years ago with a sweet, bachata version of the pop classic "Stand By Me" -- the single became the first bachata song ever to be played on mainstream radio in the United States.
