Paula Deen's 'New Testament' cookbook #1 on Amazon

In a good way.
On Wednesday, we told you that Deen's cookbook “Paula Deen’s New Testament: 250 Favorite Recipes, All Lightened Up” had gone from a ranking in the 1,500s on Monday all the way to No. 18 on Wednesday on the online bookseller Amazon.com.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Today, it is No. 1.
And its not even out until October.
Another Deen book, "Paula Deen's Southern Cooking Bible," was at No. 13. Several other Deen books were out of stock.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Deen was dumped by the Food Network, Caesars Entertainment, Smithfield Foods, and Walmart, after it was revealed she admitted in a sworn deposition in May to using the N-word decades ago.
Several other companies affiliated with Deen have stood by the star.
As have her book buyers.
