Olivia Jade and boyfriend Jackson Guthy break up after 2 years together

The former YouTuber, known best for being at the center of the college admissions scandal, was asked on her Instagram Stories on Thursday, "r u single," to which she replied with a smirk and her hand in the air, "I am indeed."

In the midst of their relationship, Jade’s parents, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, were accused in 2019 of allegedly paying college prep adviser William "Rick" Singer $500,000 to bribe both of their daughters’ way into the University of Southern California. They pleaded not guilty and have since both served jail time.
The scandal appeared to put a strain on Jade and Guthy as the couple temporarily split in May 2019. A source told Us Weekly at the time that despite the breakup, Guthy, 25, was doing his best to remain "supportive."

"Whether it be the occasional coffee run or just being physically near her, he’s trying to be supportive," an insider said. "It hasn’t always been easy, given the crazy amount of spotlight on them right now."
One month later, the pair were spotted hanging out together in Los Angeles’ Sunset Boulevard. They then appeared to had fully reconciled by late June 2019 after Guthy shared a video of himself kissing Jade’s cheek on his Instagram Story.A source confirmed to Us Weekly that the initial breakup was due in part to the legal drama surrounding Jade’s family. The insider said, "Jackson broke up with Olivia because it was all getting to be too much for him. It wasn’t necessarily affecting his career, but the fact that he couldn’t be seen out in public with Olivia was difficult."

However, Guthy later found himself dealing with some legal issues of his own when he was arrested for a DUI in September 2020.
It is unclear when Jade and Guthy split for good.
