No Ordinary Family Recruits Smallville Writers

ABC's new superhero drama No Ordinary Family has recruited longtime Smallville scribes Darren Swimmer and Todd Slavkin.
Swimmer shared the news on his Twitter account. "[Slavkin] and I will be joining the amazing team at "No Ordinary Family" starring Michael Chiklis. Premieres in fall on ABC." It is unclear whether they join the series as writers or producers, or both.

Swimmer and Slavkin worked on the Superman series beginning in 2002 as writers and moved their way up to executive producers in 2007. In 2009, they moved to CW's recently canceled Melrose Place reboot as executive producers.
No Ordinary Family, starring Michael Chiklis, follows a family with special abilities. The series will air on Tuesdays at 8/7c on ABC starting in the fall.
