The "Occupy Wall Street" protesters are expected to get some company soon in the form of the Caped Crusader, IGN reported Tuesday.
The Los Angeles Times reported that "The Dark Knight Rises" -- the follow-up to director Christopher Nolan's 2008 Batman epic "The Dark Knight" -- will be shooting in New York for 14 days starting Oct. 29. The ongoing protests could become a backdrop in the upcoming film.
A person close to the production said it was unlikely that Nolan would tweak the "Dark Knight Rises" script to get the protest in the storyline, but it would likely be visible in the background of the New York scenes.

The scenes to be filmed in Manhattan will reportedly call for extras with law enforcement, military and martial arts experience.
