Actress Jaime Pressly has escaped jail by coping a plea in her DUI case, TMZ reported Thursday.
She pleaded no contest to driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher and was sentenced to three years probation, court sources told the celebrity website.
The former "My Name Is Earl" star was arrested in Santa Monica, Calif., on Jan. 5 on suspicion of drunk driving. At the time of the arrest, she registered a blood alcohol level of .22, nearly three times the legal limit.
She originally faced two charges but they were reduced as part of a plea deal. Without the deal, she could have faced six months jail time had she been convicted.
The 34-year-old will be starring in a new sitcom, "I Hate My Teenage Daughter," alongside actress Katie Finneran.
The comedy premieres on FOX November 23.
