Miranda Lambert shares rare photo of husband Brendan McLoughlin to promote puppy adoption

Lambert, 35, revealed in February that she married NYPD officer Brendan McLoughlin in a super-secret ceremony. The couple tends to keep their private life private, with the exception of a handful of public appearances that kicked off with the Academy of Country Music Awards red carpet earlier this year.

{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}However, in a recent Instagram post, the star showed off both her husband and some puppies that she’s been taking care of on their Nashville farm.
“Meet Smoke and Bandit! They showed up at the farm last week and we’re bringing them to #CMAFest to get adopted. No vacancy in our Mutt Motel! #FarmLife,” Lambert shared. “Register at MuttNation.com to join us at the #MuttNationMarch on June 6 in Nashville to save more pups like them!!”
In addition to showing a rare public photo of McLoughlin with a dog in each arm, the photo promotes an animal adoption agency that Lambert is linked to.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The "Tin Man" singer was previously married to Blake Shelton before they called it quits in 2015 and he quickly moved on with his “The Voice” co-host Gwen Stefani. Lambert remained single for a while before suddenly announcing her marriage to McLoughlin on Valentine’s Day.
“In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news,” she tweeted at the time. “I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for.... me. #theone”

The couple reportedly splits their time between New York City and Nashville, where Lambert tends to several animals on a farm. According to People, the singer already takes care of multiple horses, mini horses, cats and dogs. As a result, it seems she’s unable to take in more animals and is hoping to get the new pups, Smoke and Bandit, adopted into good homes.
