Melissa Joan Hart 'smitten' with Ryan Reynolds during 'Sabrina' days

Melissa Joan Hart was "smitten" with Ryan Reynolds when he appeared on her hit 90s sitcom "Sabrina the Teenage Witch."

"He was sweet. I had a boyfriend at the time, but we were smitten and cute," Hart told Australia's Studio 10.

Hart, now 40, said she didn't end up with the guy she was dating at the time and regrets having not gone for Reynolds.

"[He] probably would have been a great boyfriend than the other guy, so maybe I should have taken a chance," she joked.

All's well that ends well; Hart is happily married to musician Mark Wilkerson and they have three sons.

Reynolds, also 40, is married to actress Blake Lively. They have two daughters.
