Meghan Markle has “forgotten her roots” and is acting “phony” toward her family now that she’s a royal-to-be, her half-brother claims.
“She is giving the greatest performance of her life,” Thomas Markle Jr., 51, of Oregon, told the Daily Mirror.
“Once she got into Hollywood she turned into a different person,” added Thomas, whose dad divorced Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, in 1988. “She’s clearly forgotten her roots and her family.”

The TV actress, 36, is set to wed Prince Harry, 33, on May 19 at Windsor Castle before more than 500 guests. But Thomas Jr. didn’t receive an invite.
He claims Meghan is giving him the cold shoulder even though they saw each other regularly from 2009 to 2011 while caring for their dementia-stricken grandma.
“I’m not bitter, just baffled,” he said. “It’s hurtful given how close we once were.”
