Mark Ruffalo: Ben Affleck nixed my friendship with Jennifer Garner

They played childhood friends turned lovers in the 2004 romantic comedy, “13 Going on 30,” but co-stars Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Garner are no longer pals. And it seems the reason is because of Garner's husband - Ben Affleck.
Last week Ruffalo appeared on “Watch What Happens Live,” and a fan called in asking if he kept in touch with Garner.
"We had a great time together, and I think we would, but then Ben [Affleck] came on the scene and that was the end of that," Ruffalo said smiling.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}"I heard he doesn't allow her to have male friends," host Andy Cohen said, mischievously, "I made that up!"
Ruffalo shrugged his shoulders and then added it was “sad” he hadn’t stayed in touch with Garner.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The same year “13 Going on 30” was released, Garner started dating Affleck and they married in June 2005. They have three children together—daughters Violet, 8, Seraphina, 5, and son Samuel, 2.
Ruffalo has been married to actress Sunrise Coigney since 2000, and they also have three children.
