Mariah Carey on Nicki Minaj: 'I Didn’t Know She Sang'

Season 12 of "American Idol" hasn’t even started yet, but the show’s getting more and more heated as the feud between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj continues.
The two new judges on Fox’s singing competition developed serious beef while filming the series, but on Nightline Monday night Carey said it’s squashed. Barbara Walters pressed the subject by reading lyrics from Minaj's new song, which is reportedly about the show.
“I didn't know she sang," Carey said. "I thought she rapped. Or whatever."
