Laurie Hernandez among stars in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Olympic gold medalist Laurie Hernandez is going to get off the dance floor to celebrate at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.
The 16-year-old gymnast, who is currently killing the competition on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” will be joined by a slew of stars for the 90th annual parade on Nov. 24, Macy’s said on Tuesday.
Fellow gold medalists Claressa Shields and Michelle Carter, singers Tony Bennett, Sarah McLachlan, De La Soul, Christopher Jackson from the Broadway megahit “Hamilton,” and the cast and Muppets of “Sesame Street” will also take part.

The special will air at 9 a.m. EST on NBC's "Today" show.
Former NHL players Adam Graves and Eric Lindros and U.S. Paralympic gold medalists Mikey Brannigan and Gianfranco Iannotta are also part of the lineup. Performers participating include Regina Spektor, Chloe x Halle, Brett Eldredge, Fitz & the Tantrums, Maddie & Tae, Daya and Jacob Whitesides.
