Golf Magazine is reporting that the 46-year-old singer, born Robert James Ritchie, joined forces with Jack Nicklaus for the inaugural Skins Shootout at the Bass Pro Legends of Golf tournament where they beat Gary Player and Lee Trevino.

The five-time Grammy nominee was a late addition to the shootout, which took place at Big Cedar Lodge in Missouri. The publication added he hit eight of nine greens, garnering praise from his partner, an 18-time major champion.
